Enhancement and creation of pictures
for use in the internet

GraphicConverter offers support to create picture files compatible for the internet with an ideal compromise between file size and picture, for GIF, JPEG and PNG formats:

Save dialog boxes

GraphicConverter uses special help dialog boxes to
achieve the desired result:

• Support for Apple Navigation Services
• Define the required document format simply by
  entering the required ending
  
• Create picture documents compatible for the internet which
  you can send by e-mail directly from GraphicConverter
  
• If required, you can create a low resolution LOWSRC preview
  (16 shades of grey for the "LOWSRC HTML" tag)   
• Change from the Save dialog over to further settings   

JPEG save options

In the JPEG dialog you can immediately see if the quality setting will result in unacceptable loss of picture quality. In addition, it is possible to create progressive JPEGs.
 

GIF 

You can create GIF picture files with a number of options:

• Transparency
• Animation (several frames)
• Interlaced representation (during the download)
• Removal of unused colors (in order to reduce the file size) 
  

PNG 

You can create PNG picture files with various options:

• Transparency
• Interlaced representation (during the download)
• Minimum file size (by trying out all the compression types)
