Color management with ColorSync
and ICC profiles
Provided your display and graphics card are correctly set up the GraphicConverter will display your pictures exactly as you will see them after they are printed (e.g. from a picture developer or an inkjet capable of printing color correctly).
In order to achieve this, GraphicConverter uses the functions ColorSync color management system integrated in Mac OS.
A further highlight is a batch processing function where you can use the picture and file browser
to select some images (JPEG or TIFF format) and embed an ICC color
profile – and this is made without having to open the pictures or
change the original picture information.
Important note
Color management is a very complex theme, therefore we only recommend these features for experienced users. Incorrect settings can lead to unexpected color changes (e.g. red or pallid skin color).
Tutorials are available in the internet which give an introduction to color management and ICC profiles.
